What Size Is Right For You?
How do you know what size you need? To figure out the height that you need, back your truck under your camper and then lower the camper to the desired height from your bed (6-8 inches from the edge of your bed to the camper is recommended). Then measure from the top of the ball to the flat part of the kingpin box and match to the measurements below to find the right fit for your setup.
Rating And Safety
For any towing options that you may consider or use for your setup, remember your towing capacity. This doesn’t just apply to your truck. It also applies to each and every piece of towing equipment that you are going to use — including your 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter. You should stick to the rule of considering that your towing capacity is to be equal to the capacity of the lowest-rated component of your entire setup. That could be your truck, trailer, hitch, or another part of the system. Our adapters are designed for safe towing and reliable towing to meet your needs!
